PaperCut Printing
PaperCut is Wintec's new Print Management Solution. It enables staff and students to print from any device to any printer across all Wintec campuses. Get started 1. To print from your device select WintecPrint. 2. Go to the printer you wish to print from and scan your Wintec ID card. 3. Select from the screen if you wish to Print release or scan. Select Print All for quick print. 4. Select the document you wish to print and press the Start button. 5. Ensure you logout after collecting your printing. 6. To photocopy a document select Copier on the home screen. 7. Select your copy options and press Start to photocopy your document. 8. You can also scan to your OneDrive or Email.

Using the WintecPrint print queue
The WintecPrint queue has been set up to allow staff to print to any printer in Wintec regardless of location. Using the WintecPrint queue requires you to badge your staff ID card at the printer before printing can commence. BENEFITS of using the WintecPrint queue Print documents to the WintecPrint queue and retrieve the hardcopies at the office later. (Job stays in the printers for upto 1 hour only) You can print confidential documents to the WintecPrint queue and be sure they stay confidential. The print request will wait in the queue until you get to the printer and badge your ID. Saves waste – many people print then forget to collect their printing. How to use the WintecPrint queue Check the WintecPrint queue is in your printer list: If you use a Mac or the WintecPrint queue is not in the list, please contact the Service Desk on ext 8000. If you use a PC and the WintecPrint queue is not in the list, follow the instructions below to add it. Add the WintecPrint queue (you only have to do this once) 1. Click Start Windows icon > Type and Click "Printers & scanners" 2. Click Add a printer or scanner 3. Click "The printer that I want isn't listed" Select option 2 "Find a printer in the directory" Type WintecPrint Click Find now Select WintecPrint and click Ok The message below will appear. Tick the Set as the default printer option if required & click the Finish button: Printing 1) Print your document, selecting the WintecPrint queue: 2) For colour printing, you have to set your document to print in colour (at the computer). Scanning to OneDrive or Email
1. Badge your Wintec ID Card to login to the MFD 2. Select Scan on the printer screen. 3. Choose scan to option. 4. Scan to OneDrive Note: your will not validate your email and allow permissions - please check your email for instructions when this scan to onedrive option is used initially 5. Scan to Email

Print in Colour or Black and White
For each document 1. Select WintecPrint from your device 2. Click Print Properties 3. Select Colour and click Ok 4. Click Print Set as default 1. Type Printers & Scanners and click 2. Select WintecPrint from your device 3. Click Manage - > Printer Preferences - 4. Select Layout - print to both sides - Flip on Long Edge 5. Select Paper/Quality - Select Color to Black or Color and click Ok

Print Double-sided
1. Select WintecPrint 2. Click Print Properties 3. Select the desired setting under 2 sided: and click Ok If you want to print only one side, please select Off. 4. Click Print You can also print double sided by selecting the options on the printer screen. See screen shot below.

Print in Portrait or Landscape
1. Select WintecPrint 2. Click Print Properties 3. Select Portrait or Landscape and click Ok 4. Click Print 5. You can also select portrait or landscape on the printer screen before you release the print job.

Print from personal/intune devices (WintecPrint queue)
Installing the WintecPrint printer Type printers in the search bar next to your start menu Press Enter or double click the Printers & Scanners icon. Click on Add a printer or Scanner Click on WintecPrint Then Add device to install the WIntecPrint printer Windows will automatically install a driver for the printer. This may take up to 1 minute. Once installed the WintecPrint printer will be display in your list of installed printers The printer is now ready for use. Ensure you select the correct printer when printing from any Windows Application as Windows 10 will remember the last printer you used. BYOD Windows 10 Printing on Windows 10 version 1809 or greater Requirements You must be connected to the WintecSecure wireless network authenticated with your Wintec username and password NOT with your cellphone number and authentication token. You must be running Windows 10 version 1809 or greater. To check your version of Windows 10: Type winver in the search field next to your start menu Press Enter or double click on the winver icon Then check the version number (1903 in this example) so printing will work as the version is 1809 or greater.

Which Printer Do I Select in the Hub?
Select the printer called WintecPrint and print. You can print from any printer in the City Hub or Rotokauri Hub. Print screen once you have scanned your ID card and are ready to select your print job.
